NGINX reverse-proxy serve obfuscated javascript

I’m using Nginx as a reverse proxy for Nodejs.
Nginx is configured to serve all static files, for performance.
This includes many static javascript files.

I want Nginx to serve these JS files, obfuscated. Ideally it would cache or save an obfuscated variant of every file and serve those at the time of the request. Does a setting or module for Nginx exist for this?

Of course I understand obfuscation isn’t a way to secure sensitive information in JS.
This is why I include no sensitive information in these files. However, I would prefer if users didn’t have such an easy time going through the code.

Thanks!
